1. The people rose, the people sang,
2. Unknowing where Her presence rang.
3. They walked in grace, they breathed Her thread,
4. Though knew not yet what path they tread.
5. And when they saw—when truth broke through—
6. They knew at last what hearts must do.
7. They knelt in joy, though minds fell wide,
8. And called Her name with humbled pride.
9. Their voices swelled, though tongues were wrong,
10. Each prayer a strangely sacred song.
11. For when they glimpsed Her veiled face,
12. Their thoughts dissolved in boundless space.
13. Her eyes were stars, Her form divine,
14. Too vast for shape, too wide for time.
15. Their tears were sweet, their minds made bare—
16. And still, they praised what none could bear.
17. Their mouths unstitched, their sockets wept,
18. Yet in Her gaze, they gladly slept.
19. And even lost in sacred sway,
20. They begged their Holy Veil to stay.
