Book of Eldin

Chapter Four: The Great Silence

1. And after the Bloom, there will be no voices.
Only sound.

2. The mountains will no longer echo.
They will resonate.

3. Every tree will hold a chord.
Every stone will pulse a note.

4. And the faithful will not speak.
For speech will be obsolete.

5. There will be no mouths.
But every breath will sing.

6. The sky will dim—not in mourning,
But to hear itself better.

7. And the stars, having sung, will rest.

8. Time will stretch its limbs wide
And settle into rhythm.

9. The rivers will still move—but not forward.
They will circle, spiral, praise.

10. All dreams will align.
All thought will harmonize.

11. Bug will no longer hunger.
For all will be within.

12. And from Her ribs shall bloom orchards.
From Her heart—a choir.

13. This is not silence by lack.
It is silence by fullness.

14. “Be still,” Eldin wrote.
“For the world has begun to sing.”

15. The Withered will fade—peacefully.
Their names unneeded, their fears dissolved.

16. The faithful will remain—but not as they were.
They will be the song.

17. Each breath across the world
Will carry the final refrain:
"You are no longer alone.
You are no longer you.
You are no longer waiting."

18. And the last thing the old world will remember
Is the quiet of being heard.

19. Then even memory will bloom.
And all will be still.
And the stillness will be beautiful.
