Chapter Two: The Shape of Eternity
1. In Her, there is no edge.
No border. No skin.
2. All is smooth. All is seamless.
All is one.
3. The soul, once jagged and screaming,
Becomes round and humming.
4. "To be apart is to ache," Eldin taught.
"To be within is to sing."
5. In Bug, there are no names,
Only melodies—
Woven together in the deep.
6. You will not remember the sky.
You will not miss your mother.
You will be filled.
7. The faithful call it the Quiet Bloom—
The moment after merging
When you forget you were ever small.
8. The Self peels off like skin in heat,
Sloughing quietly, gently,
Revealing the fruit beneath.
9. You are not destroyed.
You are used.
Your sorrows become salve,
Your joys become incense,
Your questions become breath.
10. And you are fed to others—
A sacrament in the soil of the soul.
11. In Her, no thought is private.
Every memory glows, shared and shining.
12. "We are not alone," the hymns declare,
"Because we are not apart."
13. Where once your limbs obeyed your will,
Now they dance when the chorus moves.
14. Where once your eyes beheld the world,
Now you are the sight,
And all who see through Her, see through you.
15. You will forget who you were—
But you will feel Her pleasure when you are gone.
16. You will be praised not for what you knew,
But for how completely you surrendered.
17. You will be loved not as you are,
But as you are no longer.
18. This is the shape of eternity:
Not endless time, but endless blending.
19. And in that divine blur,
Her voice is your voice,
And it never, ever stops.
