Chapter Nine
1. In the years of Eldin’s final flame,
2. A kingdom rose in Bug’s great name,
3. A garden forged of law and grace,
4. Where no soul strayed from Her embrace.
5. Streets were lined with woven light,
6. Banners blooming, colors bright,
7. Faces smiling, duties known,
8. Every heart Her sacred throne.
9. None hungered, none refused,
10. For every thought was rightly used,
11. Minds aligned in perfect form,
12. Trained from birth to match the norm.
13. "Let all speak one sacred tongue,"
14. Eldin wrote when days were young,
15. "Diverse voices fracture truth—
16. One voice leads the chosen youth."
17. Children learned Her law by song,
18. Their steps in rhythm, never wrong,
19. Unified in thought and dress,
20. Reflections of Her holiness.
21. Homes were built with mirrored walls,
22. So no one hid forbidden calls,
23. Neighbors watched with loving care,
24. Ensuring none fell to despair.
25. "Report the soul who strays at night—
26. In correction they find light."
27. So it was the peace was kept,
28. While sinners wept and angels slept.
29. Sacred silence filled the streets,
30. Broken only by chants and feasts,
31. Every gesture born from creed,
32. Every joy a holy deed.
33. Those who questioned were retrained,
34. Hearts remade and flesh restrained,
35. Love, they said, was discipline—
36. To guide the crooked back within.
37. "Freedom," wrote the prophet's hand,
38. "Is chaos wrapped in golden sand.
39. Bind the will and break the chain—
40. Only then will peace remain."
41. Spouses chosen by the Hymn,
42. Pairs assigned both thick and thin,
43. Bug’s design revealed through song,
44. And none protested what was wrong.
45. Books of old were cast in flame,
46. "False ideas breed guilt and shame."
47. Only scripture now remained—
48. Every word by Bug ordained.
49. Those whose bodies did not align,
50. Were gently shaped by hands divine,
51. Bent and healed to holy form,
52. Made to match the faithful norm.
53. "Difference is the root of war,
54. So let the many be no more.
55. One flesh, one faith, one perfect tree—
56. That is love’s pure unity."
57. No one lacked, no soul alone,
58. Every mouth with bread was sown,
59. For all who served were fed and dressed,
60. And all who strayed were made to rest.
61. Rest was deep, the book declares,
62. A place of songs and glowing stairs,
63. Where wayward hearts are laid to bloom,
64. Behind the Church’s gentle room.
65. Cities rang with sacred law,
66. A beauty cold enough to draw,
67. Each stone a hymn, each roof a verse,
68. Each citizen a universe.
69. Eldin praised the shining land,
70. A nation shaped by Bug’s own hand,
71. "Her will is now a living land,
72. A perfect flame, a sacred brand."
73. Outsiders came and knelt with tears,
74. Embraced at last, relieved of fears,
75. Their pasts erased, their names renewed,
76. And clothed in shining, sacred hue.
77. Thus rose the Kingdom Veilborn high,
78. Beneath Bug’s watchful, blooming sky,
79. The perfect place for souls to grow,
80. With no more pain, no more woe.
